Senior Manager, Platform Security - Remote

Overview

GEICO is seeking a Platform Security Leader to provide strategic and technical direction for securing our compute, collaboration, and cloud environments.

• Lead security detection and prevention strategies across all endpoint definitions.
• Enhance security controls across messaging platforms and data loss prevention technologies.
• Shape the security of cloud-native infrastructure in public, private, and hybrid environments.
• Drive automation in security tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with enterprise partners to innovate new security initiatives.
• Develop and implement technology, policies, standards, and guidelines for compliance.
• Communicate the value of security measures to the business.
• Mentor and manage highly skilled security teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance security measures.
• Work with CSIRT teams for effective protection coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a dedicated security role, preferably in tech.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure.
• 3+ years in a leadership role influencing company security direction.
• Strong background in endpoint security tooling.
• Experience in offensive and defensive security roles.
• Proficient in multi-platform environments (Linux, Mac, Windows).
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with auditors and demonstrating security controls.
• Ability to communicate and present to senior leadership.
• Experience in device management technologies.
