• Join the Goodnotes Foundation team responsible for the leading note-taking app.
• Work remotely or in Hong Kong/London with flexible hours.
• Own and evolve the INK Design System for scalability and consistency.
• Design user experiences for desktop applications across multiple platforms.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams.
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing desktop application design projects.
• Experience with design systems and user-centered design principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in software design.
• Experience managing design systems and understanding token-based theming.
• Proven experience as a Desktop Experience Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fluent and Google’s Material Design guidelines.
• Expertise in designing end-to-end flows with a user-centered approach.
• Strong visual design skills and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to generate concepts and prototypes quickly.
• Systems thinking and flexibility in problem-solving.
