In Short

• We are seeking a civil litigation attorney to join our New York Team.
• This position is hybrid/remote.
• Attorneys get full ownership of a case from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Summarize medical records and write reports to clients.
• Take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions.
• Attend in-person and virtual court appearances.
• Provide legal representation in complex litigation.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Work with clients, opposing counsel, and the court system.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with depositions and mediations.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Good judgment and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the legal profession.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Experience billing for your time.
