Overview

Développement PEK is a non-profit indigenous corporation created to support the concept of community energy developed by Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan (Mashteuiatsh). The organization seeks to integrate a Wind Project Manager to support the general management in the development and design of wind projects.

In Short

• Participate in the design of wind projects.
• Define potential sites for wind measurement equipment.
• Manage contracts for the installation of wind measurement equipment.
• Identify potential project sites based on wind data.
• Handle authorization and permit requests for projects.
• Prepare and write tender documents.
• Manage engineering contracts during the design phase.
• Attend public information meetings.
• Propose solutions to adapt the project as needed.
• Participate in negotiations for various components of the wind farm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10 years of experience in the wind energy field.
• Ability to travel to various sites.
• Bilingual proficiency required.
• Knowledge of the permitting processes necessary for wind projects.
• Ability to write and review contracts.
