Overview

Giffels Webster has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Macomb County office, located in Washington Township. As a Senior Civil Engineer you will be working to support local communities with projects that are contributing to improving quality of life for residents of southeast Michigan.

In Short

• Work independently on various engineering projects for municipal clients.
• Assist architects, developers, and property owners.
• Typical responsibilities include site plan layout, grading, and utility design.
• Prepare permit applications and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience in AutoCAD software is required.
• PE licensure in Michigan preferred.
• Experience in Civil3D and stormwater modeling in SWMM is a plus.
