Overview

We are seeking a strong Technical Writer for our direct State client in Austin, Texas to develop comprehensive technical product documentation for their cybersecurity group.

• Contract position for 12-18 months

• Develop and maintain technical documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications or related subject
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
• 3+ years technical writing experience in cybersecurity
• Knowledge of Texas State Government structure
• Familiarity with Texas Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience writing in standard styles (APA, MLA, CMS)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
