SEM Specialist - Remote

Overview

The SEM Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and managing Genius Monkey’s own internal overall SEO/SEM strategy using data pulled from Google Analytics, Performance Planner, Search Console & the networks themselves. Our ideal candidate has the skills and dedication to drive highly-qualified traffic to our site, maximize our campaign ROI and can read beyond the data to ensure our ads are served to the most qualified people at the right time. This individual will work with and present to company C-suite and stakeholders to help drive new marketing ideas as well as come up with website design improvement suggestions to help boost user experience and conversion rates. This individual needs to be a self starter and take ownership of the role with little supervision. In addition to owning all things Genius Monkey marketing, the role will assist in general campaign management team operations in down time and times of need.

In Short

• Developing and maintaining effective Paid Search campaign strategies across multiple search networks
• Optimizing to KPIs and establishing healthy traffic and conversion growth
• Communicating with the campaign management and marketing teams to help maximize ROAS
• Keyword research, SEO best practices & guiding landing page and website revisions
• Monitor campaign delivery to ensure campaigns are running as expected and meeting targeting objectives
• Keep pace with new developments in search engine and PPC industry
• Assist campaign management team with operations, campaign builds and campaign maintenance on various platforms/DSPs

Requirements

• A passion for developing effective PPC marketing strategies
• A passion for developing effective programmatic marketing strategies and optimizing accounts for optimal ROAS performance.
• Ability to make sound marketing decisions from a combination of intuition and data-driven results
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to read into underlying data
• Education: BA or BS degree and 1-2 years of comparable industry experience or 3+ years of comparable industry experience
• Google Ads Certification a must, other network certifications a plus!
• Experience managing a team
• Experience running display, video, and preferably OTT & Audio in Google Ads and other DSPs
• Experience building and reporting on display, video, and preferably OTT & Audio campaigns
