Associate, Accounts Payable and Receivable - Remote

Overview

Gemini is looking to hire an Associate, Accounts Payable and Receivable responsible for accounts payable and client invoicing. This role will be central to our continued scaling as an organization and efforts to increase transparency.

In Short

• Daily invoice processing and management for US and International regions.
• Prepare semi-monthly payments through the bank portal.
• Ensure timely payment and responsiveness to vendors.
• Monthly billing and invoice preparation of custodial client balances.
• Support ad hoc activities defined by the Chief Accounting Officer.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance or related field.
• 2+ years of work experience in accounting.
• Experience working in an accounting function within a large enterprise general ledger.
• Willingness and commitment to learn.
• Previous AP/AR experience in a regulated industry is preferable.
• Ability to manage numerous competing deliverables.
• An understanding of basic accounting.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
