NOSC Analyst - Remote

Overview

GDIT is seeking a NOSC Analyst to support the CDC Cybersecurity Program Office in Atlanta, GA, responsible for cybersecurity incident response and monitoring enterprise networks.

In Short

• Perform command, control, coordination, and analysis roles.
• Identify and respond to computer network security incidents.
• Investigate and correlate indicators of compromise.
• Monitor enterprise networks for availability.
• Conduct incident response activities as per established guidelines.
• Recommend and implement mitigation actions for security breaches.
• Coordinate with vendors for network-related hardware and software.
• Evaluate and implement network solutions.
• Work in a 24x7x365 operational support environment.
• Provide documentation for security incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Active Public Trust clearance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, etc.
• Certifications such as SEC+, SSCP, CEH, or CCNA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working at the CDC is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with network administration and security trends.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
