Systems Engineer (CDN) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Engineer to join our global team at Gcore, playing a critical role in operating and maintaining our global Content Delivery Network (CDN).

In Short

• Operate, maintain, and monitor the global CDN infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, diagnose issues promptly, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate closely with network and infrastructure teams for maintenance and enhancements.
• Manage and contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories using Git.
• Continuously improve monitoring and alerting systems.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).
• Proficient in Git and Bash scripting.
• Experience in operational on-call duties.
