Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

GDBA’s Accounting Division is hiring a full-time Payroll Specialist to join their Finance Team, working closely with associates, Human Resources, and the Accounting Manager.

In Short

• Process and validate payroll accurately and punctually.
• Serve as the central contact for payroll-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with management on payroll matters.
• Oversee the timekeeping system for compliance.
• Process and verify special pay and deductions.
• Work closely with HR for benefits enrollment and payroll deductions.
• Maintain payroll operations in adherence to company policies.
• Stay updated on payroll administration rules and regulations.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Payroll.
• Experience with California payroll.
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with UKG preferred.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
