Lead the expansion of video capabilities as part of a new Video Engineering team.
Architect and develop video features across the video pipeline stack.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experiences.
Mentor and onboard other engineers in the video streaming space.
Design and build scalable video pipelines in cloud environments.
Work with various video technologies and frameworks.
Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
Contribute to strategic roadmap for video technology.
Build internal SDKs and tools for product teams.
Foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in video and audio streaming.
Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Proficiency in video packaging principles and codecs.
Hands-on experience with video streaming workflows.
Familiarity with programming languages used in video development.
Experience in designing and building APIs/SDKs.
Technical leadership experience in software engineering.
Ability to create detailed technical documentation.
Experience with CI/CD tools.
Front-end development experience is a plus.
