Backend Engineer - Mid-Senior Level (Scala) - Remote

Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will help us build features, design and implement API methods, and improve the performance and reliability of our systems.

In Short

• Build and expand data analysis products and APIs in Go.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers.
• Monitor and improve server-side performance.

Requirements

• Experience with server-side web development (Java, Scala, Ruby, Python, Golang).
• Interest in Experimentation and Statistics.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Data ingestion.
• Familiarity with data structures and distributed systems.
• Commitment to a communicative and collaborative environment.
• Code maintainability and quality focus.
• High standards for production systems.
• Familiarity with networking technologies (TCP, HTTP, etc.).
