Lead Copywriter - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating clear, persuasive, and engaging content across various marketing platforms, including email campaigns, social media, blog articles, including product descriptions, and more, while also playing an essential role in shaping the overall site experience. In Short

• Campaign Ideation: Partner closely with creative leads and designers to concept and write into campaigns as briefed by stakeholders.
• Content Creation: Craft engaging headlines, ads, and body copy that align with brand tone and messaging for various marketing materials.
• Site Experience Optimization: Contribute to improving the overall user experience on our websites by writing copy that enhances navigation and product discovery.
• Brand Voice & Tone: Ensure that all written content maintains a consistent brand voice that is friendly, trustworthy, and informative.
• Customer-Centric Messaging: Create compelling, customer-focused copy that addresses shopping for eligible products.
• Conversion Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop copy that enhances conversion rates.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across content.
• Editorial Review: Review and edit content for voice, tone and strategic alignment against project briefs.
• Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with trends in the health, wellness, and e-commerce industries.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in e-commerce, health/wellness.
• Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ecommerce Focus: Experience writing copy for websites with a strong focus on user experience.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail ensuring all content is consistent and accurate.
• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively about content strategy and user experience.
• Tools & Software: Proficient in Google Docs, Figma, Monday.
• Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred.

• Compensation: $70,000 - 90,000
