Overview

The Director of Data Science will lead and drive the data science strategy and initiatives of Freedman HealthCare, supervising a team of data architects and senior data science consultants to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of management experience in a technical environment.
• 15+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics.
• Expertise in SQL and complex healthcare data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic vision to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Experience in data governance and privacy principles.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare data and public health concepts.
