Overview

The Travel Technology Architect is a senior-level subject matter expert responsible for the strategy, architecture, and execution of Fox World Travel’s enterprise travel technology ecosystem.

In Short

• Leading the end-to-end architecture and solution design for large-scale Travel Technology initiatives.
• Designing scalable and secure integrations across GDS platforms and operational technologies.
• Establishing architectural standards and best practices for the Travel Technology ecosystem.
• Serving as the escalation point for complex technical challenges impacting enterprise clients.
• Partnering with Client Solutions teams to design bespoke technology solutions.
• Driving cross-functional alignment between Technology, Operations, Client Solutions, and external vendors.
• Identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement across architecture and delivery processes.
• Documenting standard operating procedures for automation tasks and customer-facing technologies.
• Providing guidance on complex troubleshooting and solution design as a mentor.
• Participating in high-level customer meetings as the technology authority.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in travel technology, systems architecture, or enterprise solution design.
• Deep expertise in Global Distribution Systems (Sabre/Travelport+ preferred).
• Experience with API integrations and evolving airline distribution strategies.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis and operational workflows.
• Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capability.
• Strong solution design and architecture planning skills.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent documentation and governance discipline.
• Strong change management capability.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
