Lead Security Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Managed Service Lead Security Administrator’s primary responsibilities focus on helping Managed Service Customers in their daily work with data protection tasks, including policy/rule management, agent configurations, and health checks.

In Short

• Perform ongoing policy and rule management and console configuration management.
• Create advanced custom rules based on customer non-standard requirements.
• Manage customer cases including timely response and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex agent performance issues.
• Facilitate direct customer interaction for troubleshooting.
• Participate in training to maintain product knowledge.
• Perform application and forensic reporting tasks.
• Follow change management processes with clear documentation.
• Monitor key systems and service health metrics.
• Guide team members with complex tasks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer technical application support.
• 4+ years of experience with Digital Guardian solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Multiplatform fluency with Linux, OSX, and MS Windows.
• Familiarity with VMware/HyperV technologies.
• Working knowledge of Systems Scripting (PowerShell, VBS).
• Competency with Windows, OSX, and Linux OS administration.
• Solid prioritization and time management skills.
• Advanced debugging skills of endpoint computers.
• Basic knowledge of MSSQL and database concepts.
• Excellent communication skills.
