Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant on our team, you will play a critical role in managing the integrity of our accounting processes and ensuring their compliance with applicable regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley.

In Short

• Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and approving journal entries.
• Performing monthly account analysis and reconciliations.
• Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.
• Assisting with monthly close process.
• Performing SOX controls tasks assigned to you.
• Leading the internal self-testing program related SOX controls.
• Assisting in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Understanding and applying accounting principles, policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, posting, reconciling and analyzing intercompany transactions.
• Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Understanding of US GAAP.
• Compliance experience, specifically with SOX testing.
• Intercompany experience.
• Experience with Netsuite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Two+ years of relevant experience.
