Overview

The Forbes Scholars Program aims to prepare and support emerging Black journalists and journalists of color from HBCUs interested in business journalism through a fellowship that includes editorial workshops and mentorship.

• Collaborate with Forbes staffers on special projects

Requirements

• Journalism major or previous journalism experience
• Prior experience in reporting, writing and editing
• Solid news judgment and understanding of journalistic standards
• Experience with publishing platforms and digital media technologies
• Interest in business and finance
• Aptitude for analyzing data
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
