In Short

  • Support the Audience Development & Community Marketing team.
  • Grow the audience for Forbes in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Draft copy for event campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Build landing pages for events via WordPress.
  • Manage event timelines and stakeholder communication.
  • Assist with customer service for events.
  • Provide on-site event support and technology setup.
  • Track event analysis and implement digital surveys.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with event attendees.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • 1-3 years of relevant event marketing experience.
  • B.A. degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or related field.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with Salesforce and event registration platforms.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
