Overview

Forbes Vetted is seeking an experienced Beauty Editor to join our commerce editorial team. This role will be responsible for shepherding the strategy, content planning and execution of the beauty and grooming section, which involves writing, assigning, editing and tracking performance across a number of content types.

In Short

• Spearhead all beauty coverage including makeup, skincare, haircare, shaving, and personal products.
• Plan the editorial calendar in collaboration with editorial leadership.
• Write, assign and edit beauty content based on SEO data and trends.
• Create social content on beauty topics with the audience development team.
• Leverage SEO and analytics tools to track performance.
• Participate in sales event coverage during key holiday weekends.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in beauty content writing and editing.
• Impeccable writing, editing, and reporting skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and commerce writing.
• Experience with product testing in beauty and grooming.
• User-focused with a balance of editorial independence and business needs.
