Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

FocusKPI is looking for a Data Engineer to join our internal team and help one of our clients with their projects. The role involves designing and implementing data pipelines linking SAP, Databricks, and Microsoft CRM while automating data flow for analytics and forecasting.

In Short

• Develop ETL pipelines to extract SAP data and load it into Databricks and Microsoft CRM.
• Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools.
• Extract and process transactional, master, and historical data from SAP.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts for AI-driven forecasting models.
• Maintain access control and security configurations.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with machine learning model deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake storage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft CRM data models.
• Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
