Infrastructure Engineer (Storage, Hardware & Software) - Remote

Overview

Fluidstack is seeking a Storage Engineer to architect and manage high-performance storage systems that support our GPU supercomputing infrastructure.

In Short

• Design and deploy scalable storage architectures tailored for GPU-intensive workloads.
• Implement and manage backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity, optimizing for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with compute and network teams for seamless integration.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging storage technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in storage engineering.
• Experience with storage hardware from major vendors or open source tools.
• Proficiency in storage protocols and technologies.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with data center operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on high-performance environments.
• Experience with storage hardware from major vendors (e.g. Weka, VAST, DDN) or open source tools (LUSTRE, Minio, etc.).
• Proficiency in storage protocols (NFS, S3) and technologies (NVMeoF).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with data center operations and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Kubernetes CSIs.
