In Short

  • Flock is looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer.
  • Responsible for physical design, testing, and hardware product delivery.
  • Contribute to the electrical design of the Flock Safety product suite.
  • Work closely with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Remote-first company with occasional travel required.
  • 5+ years of industry experience required.
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer and PCB Circuit Design.
  • Knowledge of IoT and wireless interfaces.
  • Experience with testing and validation lab equipment.
  • Motivated team player with strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • BSEE with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • PCB Circuit Design production experience.
  • Familiarity with mobile electronic product architectures.
  • Design familiarity of efficient mobile power delivery networks.
  • Knowledge of standard peripheral interfaces.
  • Understanding of SerDes and high-speed peripheral interfaces.
  • Familiarity with IoT & wireless interfaces.
  • Experience with SI/PI board-level verification.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB/Electronic system bring-up.
  • Experience working cross-functionally during product development.
