Tax Manager - Remote

Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee all direct US and International tax activities, ensuring compliance and staying current with regulatory changes while improving tax-related activities.

In Short

• Review and validate Corporate and International tax workpapers.
• Ensure domestic and international tax forms are complete and filed on time.
• Work with tax authorities to resolve issues.
• Lead global tax projects and planning initiatives.
• Compile audit support and prepare summaries.
• Gather and analyze VAT reporting with external bookkeepers.
• Maintain a tax calendar for filing deadlines.
• Stay informed about tax laws and their impacts.
• Partner with Finance for process improvements.
• Oversee compliance with internal controls for financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or MS Taxation preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of US Corporate and International tax laws.
• Expertise in ASC 740 related to multinational corporations.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with Netsuite, Logisense, Avalara is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
