Project Engineer - Energy Storage - Remote

Overview

Core to Field’s mission is developing and constructing energy storage assets, and this Project Engineer role is right at the heart of that mission. We're seeking a dynamic individual to manage engineering activities through the pre-construction, detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases of our BESS assets. This will initially focus on UK projects with over 400MW of projects at various stages of design, construction and commissioning in 2025.

Requirements

• Strong experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with distribution and transmission-connected projects.
• Knowledge of UK/EU grid code and engineering standards.
• Experience managing commissioning phases of energy projects.
• Understanding of project health and safety requirements.
• Proactive approach to quality management.
• Good commercial understanding of project management.
• Experience with BESS projects is a plus.
