Annuity New Business Specialist III - Remote

Overview

This position serves as the single point of contact for the company’s top producing annuity agents or financial institutions. This position functions as a proactive liaison between the agents, distribution partners, third-party administrators, Sales, Legal, Claims, and Actuarial departments to resolve annuity new business and customer service issues. This individual will conduct appropriate customer outreach to solicit feedback to improve customer service and customize service solutions.

In Short

• Establish professional relationships with agents and distribution partners.
• Provide phone coverage for inbound and outbound calls.
• Review new business applications and serve as the primary owner.
• Assist in post-issue inquiries and escalations.
• Understand operational processes and resolve service issues.
• Achieve required phone and transaction quality performance.
• Maintain communication and queues completion within 24 hours.
• Implement effective communication plans based on agent preferences.
• Serve as a liaison between agents and internal departments.
• Resolve operational issues and keep agents updated on products.

Requirements

• AA or BA degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in insurance or financial services.
• Experience handling escalated phone calls.
• Completion of Life insurance related education preferred.
