Overview

Seeking a full-time Senior Accountant for a role in D.C.

In Short

• Performs accounting computations and prepares associated journal entries.
• Utilizes knowledge of accounting principles to maintain the firm’s general ledger accounts.
• Prepares and reconciles monthly bank statements.
• Prepares daily deposit of checks and daily cash log.
• Prepares applicable tax residency certificates and declarations.
• Prepares monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Ensures understanding of tax deduction limitation rules.
• Assists in the preparation of annual foreign and domestic personal property tax returns.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly bank covenant compliance package.
• Supports Financial Services Managers with external auditor requests.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance.
• Ability to prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and filings.
• Experience in budget preparation and financial analysis.
