IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d) - AVD & Citrix - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/f/d) to work on the strategic development of a hybrid IT landscape with a focus on sustainability, consolidation, and automation.

In Short

• Plan and implement strategic IT infrastructure projects, such as data center consolidation.
• Support the transition from Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Create PowerShell scripts for automation and manage the Citrix/AVD environment.
• Develop concepts and conduct Proof of Concepts.
• Collaborate closely with international IT teams in Scandinavia and Northern Germany.
• 60% project work and transformation, 20-25% operations, and 15-20% conceptual tasks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Citrix/Remote Desktop Tools and experience with AVD.
• Good knowledge of PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Services (e.g., SCCM, Intune) and virtualization technologies like VMware is a plus.
• Team-oriented with ownership mentality and a willingness to rethink existing systems.
• Fluent in German and professional English.
