The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success. Interns will contribute to bleeding edge research in computer science, distributed systems, crypto-economics, and mechanism design while working closely with researchers and contributors.

In Short

Work on advanced research in blockchain systems.

Requirements

Current university enrollment in computer science, cryptography, mathematics, or economics.
Interest in Ethereum and decentralized technologies.
Experience with AI tooling for security.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
Understanding of Ethereum basics such as EVM and transactions.
Familiarity with code reviews from a security perspective.
Basic understanding of cryptography concepts.
