Protocol Security Intern - Remote

Overview

The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success. Interns will contribute to bleeding edge research in computer science, distributed systems, crypto-economics, and mechanism design while working closely with researchers and contributors.

Requirements

• Current university enrollment in computer science, cryptography, mathematics, or economics.
• Interest in Ethereum and decentralized technologies.
• Experience with AI tooling for security.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Understanding of Ethereum basics such as EVM and transactions.
• Familiarity with code reviews from a security perspective.
• Basic understanding of cryptography concepts.
