Freelance Senior Java Developer - Remote

In Short

• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex new features and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Continuously enhance application quality and security.
• Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently.
• Work closely with platform engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with SRE engineers and solution architects.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (17+) and modern Java web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with reactive Java frameworks.
• Experience working on distributed systems based on event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker Compose.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Experience with FIX protocol.
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Very good spoken and written English (at least B2).
