Voluntary Benefits Consultant - Remote

Overview

The VB Consultant is part of EPIC’s Ancillary Lines and Voluntary Benefits practice and has primary responsibilities to help clients evaluate and execute worksite benefit opportunities assisting clients in the management of benefit plan costs and risk while building a comprehensive suite of benefits to attract and retain employees.

In Short

• Develop new VB opportunities through networking and prospecting.
• Conduct annual book reviews to identify opportunities for expanding VB offerings.
• Support client engagements through strategy and implementation of worksite voluntary insurance programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and communicate them to clients.
• Manage projects for procurement and implementation of VB strategies.
• Review vendor agreements to ensure they reflect client intent.
• Assist in developing training materials for internal colleagues and clients.
• Maintain templates for RFPs and vendor databases.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in worksite voluntary programs.
• Track record of success in client relationship management.
• Proven project leadership and client service skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of HR and benefits technology.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Life and Health license in residence state.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
