Accounts Payable Clerk - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Operations Accounting Manager and will provide direct support for processing various types of accounts payable transactions with a high level of accuracy.

In Short

• Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable invoices.
• Accurately enter invoice data into the system.
• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and good receipts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with invoices.
• Ensure all vendor invoices are scanned and saved appropriately.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure transactions comply with financial policies.
• Hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
• Meticulous and self-motivated individual.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial data.
