Overview

The Human Resources Consultant I (HRC I) serves as the primary HR advisor for a portfolio of clients across multiple states and industries, delivering strategic, high-touch HR solutions that enhance culture, reduce risk, and support each client’s business goals.

In Short

• Serve as the primary HR contact for a defined book of business.
• Conduct proactive client check-ins to assess needs.
• Develop and implement customized HR service plans.
• Advise on compliance and best practices.
• Provide support for employee relations and organizational design.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client issues.
• Participate in sales presentations and prospect meetings.
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment activities.
• Create and maintain HR deliverables.
• Travel locally to client sites (up to 50% travel).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience; consulting or PEO experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation for local travel.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
