Lead Specialist, General Ledger - Remote

Overview

As a Lead Specialist, General Ledger, you will manage general ledger transactions, financial statement preparation, and audits while collaborating with internal and external customers.

In Short

• Perform bank reconciliation to protect the organization's assets.
• Validate the accuracy of cash transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and analyze transactions.
• Approve and review transactions prepared by specialists.
• Generate reports and analyze accounts for transaction accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Handle Fixed Assets Accounting including asset recognition and depreciation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 6 years of experience in general accounting, especially in General Ledger.
• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Strong understanding of internal control and GAAP.
• Proficiency in ERP applications, preferably Oracle and SAP.
