Overview

The Assistant Manager / Manager – Collection role is responsible for monitoring and driving the complete bank guarantee process, ensuring timely reporting to management, and collaborating with global teams to enhance financial excellence.

In Short

  • Monitor and drive the bank guarantee process.
  • Ensure timely reporting on Outstanding BG status.
  • Manage advance collection processes against BGs.
  • Evaluate payment terms and negotiate with the Regional Sales team.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers.
  • Provide monthly information for collection plans and disputes.
  • Coordinate with third-party collection teams.
  • Follow up with slow-paying customers for aged dues.
  • Support monthly closing and audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / MBA in Finance with 5-7 years of experience.
  • High adaptability to manage complex payment issues.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organizational skills for handling large volumes of data.
  • Agility to manage multi-business data.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
  • Ability to work with diverse, multi-regional teams.
  • Understanding of credit control and collection processes.
