Senior Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Senior Test Engineer in Argentina to work on a web platform for financial advisors for a US-based company in the finance and insurance domain.

In Short

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing
• Experience with Backend (RESTful APIs) testing
• Strong knowledge of Swagger, Postman, Tenant API
• Knowledge of test design techniques
• Knowledge of SQL (at least writing JOIN operations, understanding stored procedures etc.)
• Proficiency in functional testing
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Proactive person
• Good communication skills

Requirements

• Proficiency in non-functional testing (e.g. knowledge of load/performance/security testing)
• Basic knowledge of Elastic, Orkes

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute tests at all planned levels, log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
• Use tests administration, monitoring, and management tools
• Create, validate, update test documentation (test cases, test plan, etc.)
• Review, analyse and assess project requirements and specifications
• Prepare and acquire test data
• Contribute to general project quality assurance process
• Analyse/improve/establish test process on a project
• Define relevant metrics for project
• Define defect and test-case handling process
• Teach and mentor other test engineers
