Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is not a typical embedded role. It involves designing systems, deterministic communication, real-time operations, and responsibility for key product elements.

In Short

• Development of firmware for security components and communication modules.
• Designing and improving communication between two MCUs.
• Working with real-time logic, state machines, and error handling.
• Creating and maintaining hardware drivers (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO).
• Ensuring stable communication with the backend via OCPP over WebSocket.
• Working on OTA and system resilience in a production environment.
• Low-level debugging using professional tools (JTAG, SWD, analyzers, etc.).

Requirements

• Experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency in communication protocols and debugging tools.
• Ability to work with low-level programming and hardware interfaces.
