The Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Platforms is a hands-on role focused on securing AWS environments and SaaS platforms, while also contributing to cloud security strategy and maturity.

In Short

• Implement and manage AWS security services
• Develop and maintain IaC security practices using Terraform
• Configure and optimize Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Automate incident detection and response workflows
• Drive vulnerability management activities
• Shape the strategic roadmap for platform and cloud security
• Perform regular security assessments using AWS frameworks
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security
• Advise AI/ML teams on securing models and data pipelines
• Lead security awareness efforts for engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud security engineering experience with AWS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP
• Able to translate complex security risks into guidance
• Able to identify potential security weaknesses proactively
• Able to influence strategic security decisions
• Comfortable driving initiatives independently
• Deep expertise in AWS security services
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Experience with AWS multi-account strategies
