EasyPost is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our Developer Tooling Team, focusing on database platform automation to improve developer experience and operational rigor.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain internal tooling for database workflows.
• Establish metrics to understand critical database workflows.
• Integrate database tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use infrastructure-as-code practices to manage Azure-based environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with relational or distributed databases.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD and data-aware deployments.
• Strong communication skills.
