Language Owner for French (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview

Breuninger is seeking a dedicated part-time employee to manage the French language within the company, primarily for the Swiss market, with responsibilities including translation and transcreation of marketing texts.

In Short

• Responsible for the French language at Breuninger, focusing on the Swiss market.
• Translation and transcreation of market-specific marketing texts and content.
• Strategic development of brand-appropriate wording.
• Coordination of external translation agencies for product-related texts and ensuring quality of translations.
• Part-time position (25 hours per week) starting May 2025.
• Initially limited to one year, with the possibility of extension.
• Fully remote work from any location in Germany.
• Requires native-level French and very good German skills (at least C1).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation in the fashion e-commerce sector.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills required.

Requirements

• Native-level French language skills and very good German skills (C1).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in content creation for fashion e-commerce.
• Exceptional communication skills in correspondence with team members and external partners.
• Strong organizational talent.
• Ideally, knowledge of Confluence and Phrase or another CAT tool.
