Junior Technical Editor - Remote

Overview

Dynamis is seeking a Junior Technical Editor to support a government client.

In Short

• Advising and assisting authors during the writing stage;
• Examining the organization, length, and tone of the material;
• Editing the text for grammar, clarity, syntax, format, style, and 508 compliance;
• Consulting on design and graphics;
• Ensuring that documents meet client requirements and guidelines;
• Assisting in the preparation of material for printing.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree, preferably in English or Journalism;
• U.S. Citizenship;
• 1-3 years of experience conducting technical writing / editing;
• Experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint;
• Must be able to work on multiple taskers concurrently;
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time;
• Ability to obtain a DHS Headquarters Suitability;
• Experience working with style guides preferred.
