Overview

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive dialysis care in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and education while working autonomously and collaboratively with healthcare teams.

In Short

  • Provide ongoing dialysis care to patients in skilled nursing facilities.
  • Work 3 days a week with 12+ hour shifts, no on-call required.
  • Conduct patient education and coordinate care with SNF staff.
  • Utilize critical thinking and core nursing skills for comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Supervise Dialysis Technicians to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Participate in a robust training program for skill development.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 12 months RN experience.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Experience in dialysis preferred.
  • Training/Teaching background in healthcare is a plus.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse or Dialysis Nurse is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
