Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

DV Trading is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, buildout, and operation of firm-wide cloud infrastructure supporting all trading desks and research platforms.

In Short

• Own the architecture and operation of cloud infrastructure supporting latency-sensitive trading systems.
• Design VPC and network topologies with explicit routing, isolation, and traffic control.
• Define compute placement strategies and build shared platform capabilities.
• Lead infrastructure planning for migration of CME colocation workloads to GCP.
• Design secure, low-latency connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Mentor engineers and establish infrastructure standards.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for cloud infrastructure incidents.
• Own FinOps visibility and cost optimization frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and GCP.
• Deep expertise in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with Terraform at scale.
• Direct experience supporting electronic trading systems.
• Knowledge of GCP IAM and multi-cloud security management.
• Familiarity with crypto-specific threat landscape.
