First Line Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The First Line Supervisor at DuPont will lead and supervise shift employees to safely execute production plans while driving improvements in overall equipment effectiveness.

In Short

• Lead and supervise shift employees at the Yerkes Site in Buffalo, NY.
• Ensure operations comply with EHS policies and procedures.
• Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures for operational processes.
• Act as incident commander during plant emergencies.
• Supervise direct labor, including assigning work and training employees.
• Communicate and motivate the shift to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Assist operators with troubleshooting and coordinate with Engineering.
• Ensure resources are available for process continuity.
• Document all required activities and meet timelines.
• Demonstrate leadership aligned with DuPont's Core Values.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of chemical manufacturing experience in a supervisory role or relevant degree.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide colleagues at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Rotational shift role.
