DroneDeploy is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to enhance its Security Engineering program, ensuring the protection of customer data through advanced security measures in a remote-first culture.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, including Security Engineering.
• Proficient in modern software languages: Python, JavaScript, Golang.
• Understanding of high security without compromising user experience.
• Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-experts.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Experience with automated security scanning software.
• Formal threat modeling analysis experience.
• Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, GWAPT, OSCP preferred.
• Experience in cloud and containerized environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO-27001).
