  • Seeking a Splunk Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a federal agency.
  • Lead design, deployment, and maintenance of Splunk environments.
  • Requires expertise in Splunk architecture and operational support.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams.
  • Contract-based position with potential off-hours support.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise and Cloud administration.
  • Strong skills in SPL queries and automation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills required.
  • Mentorship of junior engineers is expected.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Splunk Enterprise or Cloud experience.
  • Knowledge object management skills.
  • Ability to optimize and debug SPL queries.
  • Experience with REST API integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with automation frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for large-scale environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Must reside within the continental United States.
