Overview

A creative and resourceful Video Editor / Content Creator is needed to join the Birmingham commerce team and help shape the visual storytelling of Food & Wine’s dynamic video content.

In Short

• 20 hours a week, in-person 2-3 days per week with some remote work possibility.
• Ideal start date: 7/29/2025.
• End date: 3 months with potential to extend.
• Hourly rate of $31.
• Work with production, creative, and editorial teams.
• Support lab production team on shoots.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos.
• Format and adapt content for various platforms.
• Manage timeline and workflow of editing projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

Requirements

• Experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Understanding of consumer tech, lifestyle, home, or beauty products.
• Motion graphics or animation experience is a plus.
• Airtable project management system experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Readily take action on new challenges.
