Overview

The Probate Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to attorneys in all phases of estate administration, probate proceedings, and estate planning.

• Prepare, draft, and file documents related to probate and estate administration.
• Coordinate and follow up with probate courts regarding case status, filings, and required hearings.
• Conduct legal and factual research related to estate assets, financial records, and required documentation.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, heirs, financial institutions, fiduciaries, and other stakeholders.
• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and required compliance documentation.
• Gather financial records, property titles, death certificates, and other necessary documents.
• Assist attorneys in preparing wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
• Track case progress and provide regular updates to supervising attorneys.
• Perform administrative tasks including billing, time entry, and recordkeeping.
