Registered Dietitian, Eating Disorders - Virtual - Remote

Overview

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for overseeing the Dietary component in tandem with the Center For Discovery Clinical Model, providing care to patients struggling with eating disorders.

In Short

• Meet with patients weekly to manage dietary meal plans.
• Conduct dietary intake assessments on admission.
• Document client progress throughout treatment.
• Facilitate nutrition groups for adults and adolescents.
• Implement dietary treatment plans within a week of admission.
• Communicate with the treatment team and families.
• Oversee Diet Techs to ensure supportive mealtimes.
• Advise clients on food choices and dietary programs.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Provide education on the medical consequences of eating disorders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and accredited dietetic internship.
• Preferred one year of experience in dietary counseling.
• Registered/certified in the appropriate state.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary interventions in mental health.
